Students have the option of taking a 120 credit International Year based on module assessments taken at an Overseas University. Of the module is passed, they will graduate with a degree in "BSc Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences with International Year", the mark contributes 6.25% to the overall degree classification. If the student fails the Year Abroad, they revert to the standard BSc Sport and Exercise Sciences The marks received while studying abroad.will be scaled to convert to the UK marking system and the International Year will then contribute 6.25% to the calculation of the overall degree classification. As a consequence the second year will count for 18.75%, the International Year for 6.25% and the final year for 75%of the degree classification. To progress to the International Year a student will mormally need to obtain at least 60% in First Year examinations.
